Case Study: Developing a Branded Marketing Campaign

Finding the Idea:

The existing logo featured several creative elements with strong visual potential. Among them, the embellished 'X' stood out as a distinctive and memorable feature.

By simplifying the logo’s elements, the shapes began to resemble a doorway or a window—visual metaphors that suggest transition, perspective, and possibility.

I was drawn to the idea of playing with a sense of time, using these symbols to frame moments that feel intentional and significant. From there, the theme naturally took shape: a visual narrative built around movement, focus, and moments of transformation.

Execution:

The refined "X" symbol became a recurring visual anchor, framing layouts, guiding motion graphics, and informing grid structures. Color, typography, and layout choices were all aligned to reinforce the sense of focus and forward momentum.

Bringing the Concept to Life:

  • Dot from the logo becomes the starting point for the tagline “find yourself here”.

  • The “X” is where you find the student looking towards their future.

  • In the background, each student is subtly grounded in their chosen sector—robotics, climate tech, space, or medical technology—represented through soft, ambient imagery.

Adding the Details:

To further differentiate the sectors and enhance brand cohesion, I introduced a set of custom-branded icons. These icons serve as clear identifiers for each focus area and can be consistently applied across various touchpoints—strengthening recognition and adding a layer of visual clarity to the overall system.
